Lego monsters and animals that I have created for Castle World:
Arachnis (Homoarachnis):

The homoarachnis, or arachnis for short, are a race of man-spiders. They are rare and considered mythical in most parts of Castle World, but are quite real, and are not uncommon in the areas where do they live. Arachnis generally dwell in dense forest or underground and are generally very dark in color with a few bright bands of yellow, blue or red. A few also dwell in the deserts, and these tend to be lighter in color. Due to their fearsome appearance arachnis are feared and shunned by most humans. They are, however, more-or-less neutral and prefer to keep to themselves rather than interact with humans. They certainly have killed many humans in their time, but only in protection of their realms. Very often humans are merely incapacitated with webbing or a mild sting and left at the borders of the forest. Only humans who persist in their trespassing, or who attack the arachnis outright will ever face the danger of being killed. The arachnis have loose alliances with several groups of elves (forest elves with a chaotic leaning) and in one case humans. The origins of this strange alliance with the humans will be described and detailed at a future date.
Arachnis have a very complex culture, are every bit as intelligent as humans, and make weapons and armor similar to that of humans. Since the arachnis are so large, they generally can outmatch any human one on one and their speed makes flight impossible, unless the arachnis wants the fleeing party to get away. Not only are they large and fierce, but they are able to use weapons and armor, shoot webbing at close range and have a poison bite, which they can somewhat control the potency of, from mild to lethal. Their long legs enable them to outrun even the fastest horses, especially in rough terrain like a forest. While they generally have a live-and-let-live attitude and stay hidden in their forests and caves, they do have to be considered from time to time in the human's plans for conquest, expansion or even just colonization.
The arachnis in any one area are usually all part of one tribe. They will mostly live and work in one central area the call the "motherweb." This allows them to aid each other and offers mutual protection. Also, most arachnis in the area are related, but descendants of but a few mothers.
Centaur (Inspired by the Classic Castle horse):

Centaurs come in many colors. They are neutral and tribal in nature and deal with humans only when it benefits them in some way. They live in many different areas, but only in small numbers. Centaurs can use most human weapons and armor.
Coats' Elephant Bird:

In the deep forests of Castle World are some rare and marvelous birds, known as Coats' Elephant Birds. They are basically huge relatives of the ostrich, up to 18' tall, and are white, gray and black in color, with yellow beaks. They are rarely seen by humans and will quickly disappear into the dense woods when humans are in the vicinity.
Firefly:

These strange creatures resemble huge flaming dragonflies. They are not insects at all, but are fire elementals that live at or near volcanic places, mostly deep in the dark realms. Firefly are mindless and quite aggressive, though the reason for this aggression is not known.
Fungoi:

The fungoi are a race of mushroom people that live in the deepest reaches of the earth. They are rarely seen on the surface, and even then only in the darkest night. Little is known about the fungoi as few people are brave enough to venture into the extreme depths they normally dwell at. Fungoi are normally white in color, but may be found in red, blue or yellow on rare occasions. These colored fungoi are considered blessed by the gods of the Earth and are often given what positions of rank there are in fungoi society. The fungoi really don't make weapons. They normally fight with rocks, sticks (If they can get them), and crystals. (The fungoi pictured is using crystals as staves.) The most dangerous thing about the fungoi is that some of these crystals can contain electrical charges, which can stun, or even kill, other humanoids on contact.
Insect Man:

These ugly monsters are of unknown origin. They are filthy and stupid and will often boldly wander into human settlements in search of food, at any time of day or night. While not hard to kill, they are a constant menace in any area that borders on wild, uninhabited (by humans anyway) regions. They pose little physical threat, but are a nuisance and a constant health threat, as they carry all kinds of diseases. They will eat almost anything, but will not kill living humans or large animals. Small animals they may swallow whole with a lightning quick flick of their long tongues. The insect men will often taste things with their tongues, including live humans, leaving disease-carrying saliva. There are many traumatized women and children in the borderlands, victims of being licked by an insect man.
Juggernaut Beetle:

Wandering far and wide through the dark realms are the gigantic and fearsome juggernaut beetles. They are the tank of the insect world and can grow up to 30' in length. They are eating machines and will often consume everything in their path. Once in a long while one even may wander the surface in a remote area, eating animals, trees, and almost everything else it encounters. It takes great skill and precision when attacking these beasts. Their thick shells make them immune to random hacking. They must be attacked at certain vital points like the eyes, mouth and certain joints in their carapaces. The arachnis have been dealing with these creatures for centuries and are the most adapt at fighting them of any group in Castle World.

The juggernaut beetle in its larval stage is every bit an voracious of an eater as the adult. These long, spiny worms also roam the dark realms, but are slower and slightly longer than the adult, being up to 40' long.
Water Elemental:

These strange magical creatures can be found in any are with a substantial amount of water. They are only semi-aggressive, and will usually only attack those getting into the body of water they inhabit and remaining there for a while. They appear as clear bubbles and tentacles of water.
Wraith, Armored:

The armored wraith is a restless spirit of a warrior of renown. They can exist virtually anywhere where powerful warriors lived, fought and died, and can possess any types of weapons and armor that a knight would use. The wraiths are usually solitary, though on occasion they can be found in concentrations on, or near, the sites of ancient battles or in the ruins of long demolished castles. They are very strong fighters, possessing a skill level very close to that which they had in life. Most people fear the wraiths and flee from them, not only because of their skill with arms, but also because an armored wraith will be very hostile. This is because most of the warriors who become wraiths were killed in battle and often still believe they are in combat. They will act accordingly.
